My english teacher recommended me this App... and, really, it is great! There are a lot of synonyms and examples and you can hear the pronunciation .

I have been a long time user of M-W classic paper version, and this app is quite as good (to be perfectly honest, I should concede that I am no longer actually using my beloved M-W real-world book).

Suggested! Definitions are clear and easy for a quick understanding. Etimos are comprehensive and interesting. Very handy!

Very useful

I really like to use the Merriam App! Its a great tool for building your vocabulary. Name that thing teaches you about objects by giving you a visual of things you may not be familiar with. Test your vocabulary, scrabble etc., awesome tools. Thanks to Merriam, we should all be or could be smart!!!

Very useful app. A must have for students. I love the fact that you can tap the "megaphone", and hear how the word is pronounced. There are also some games you can play to increase your vocabulary. The word of the day is also useful. When I open my app and see the word of the day, I try to use that word throughout the day. I like seeing the expression on peoples faces when they hear me speak words they dont know. Overall, it is a great app. I would recommend downloading and try it. You wont be disappointed .

Great App; however after the most recent bug fix, I havent been able to update the App! I tried to delete it & reinstall, but it wont allow me to do that either!

I just discovered the vocabulary quiz tool and had a great time playing! This is going to be my go to game for my high schoolers. I use the dictionary function all the time but this enhances the app for me. Im a huge fan now and this will fulfill my word nerd needs:)
