Decent app overall, but voice recorder is broken, also there is not an auto fill/word predictor, so if your spelling is a little bit off, then youre S.O.L. and, like others have mentioned, sometimes the ads are a bit annoying, especially when you cant turn them off for 10 or 15 seconds.

After the last update the app is stuck updating and I cannot delete it. When I click on yes to delete it - its still there. It is not showing up on my app update list. When I go to my installed app list it shows up. I click on "Open" and it does nothing. They need to fix this!!

I often find exactly what I am looking for with this app. I see other reviews that say they have too many pop up ads...I dont seem to have them thank goodness, and I have the free app not the paid one. The microphone does not work but no suprise there because Siri has never understood me:-( I do love this app and the word of the day!

I like this App because at times my data usage is not working, I can still use it! This Merriam Webster Dictionary has A few Word Games that one can enjoy playing without Your GB being in use.Thanks Apple.

The most aggressive ads on the most expensive app Ive ever paid for. I have no words... because you took them from me.

This app is hacked by adds! Impossible to use it. Shame! Shame! Shame!

I have been very happy using this app for two years. Just recently I noticed that the pronunciation button no longer speaks the sound of the word. At first I thought it was my device but the same problem developed on my tablet and my second smartphone. I had to download a different dictionary app to find out how to pronounce the words I am trying to learn.

This used to be my go to app. No more. Nothing but pop ups-sometimes three on a screen. I removed it immediately. Save your precious space and time. Would rate it a zero if I could!

Used to be decent. Now too many ads. Also minimal definitions and almost no phrases.

Very disappointed just downloaded this in the very first word I tried basically just pronounced it and had no definition of what the word means. When Im looking for a definition I want to know what the word means not just how to say it glad I didnt spend the extra money for the upgraded version.

This use to be my favorite app, a portable dictionary. I understand ads in a free app, I do, but pop-ups!? Not just pop-ups, but pop-ups with no clear way to exit or pass. This is PARTICULARLY a problem considering most of the time someone is using a dictionary, theyre WORKING, striving towards some productivity, the amount of time trying to get around the pop-ups turned this app from one of the best tools to a f%*#!$@ irritation at best.
